JQ THE App, THE iOS application is now officially on the iTunes App Store.

Following the success of the ProRCSetup application, we are proud to announce the release of the JQ Products THE App for the iPAD.  This application comes complete with all the same great features found in all our releases.

Alpha Ryan Lutz Edition .21 5+2P

Alpha Plus and Ryan Lutz have teamed together to produce “The Lutz Edition” Alpha Plus Engine. Based off the wildly popular A852 model from Alpha Plus, the Lutz Edition has a few performance and cosmetic tweaks that give it a one of a kind look and feel.

It starts at the top with the in-your-face hot pink signature cooling head sure to make you and your race vehicle stand out at the track.

As you work your way down the crankcase you’ll notice some attention to detail as cutouts and weight savings were considered. This engine is very light (under 350g) and goes very well with today’s drivers who are really geared towards weight savings on their race cars! Also not to be missed on the crankcase is another signature from Ryan Lutz showing his representation and support for this exciting product.

Moving your gaze up and forward now towards the carburetor you’ll find a super smooth throttle slide equipped with a new low speed needle providing a smooth linear feel and increased fuel economy. Also as standard on Alpha Engines the 12-hour dial around the low speed needle so you can easily remember where you have your needle set at and your mechanic can always know how much 2 hours or 3 hours signifies! Looking now just below the high speed needle you find more cutouts for decreased weight and better cooling of the carb.

All in all this engine is sure to grab attention at the track where it’s looking good sitting in your vehicle in the pits, or screaming down the straight at nearly 40,000 RPM. The proven 5+2 Ports design provides plenty of power on both top and bottom end. New Update 1.1.0 for SWORKz iOS application with email and copy features

The release of version 1.1.0 incorporates major features that many have requested. The release of this new version provides various feature updates such as:

  • NEW email feature which allows racers to email their setup sheets
  • NEW integrated contact information to email addresses. Racers can now access their contact details to select multiple email addresses as email recipients
  • NEW setup picture feature. Racers can capture an image of their setup sheet and the image will be saved in their photo library.
  • NEW copy feature. Racers can create duplicate copies of their base setup and modify the new setup changes without re-entering all their original setup values.

There are also many performance enhancements to further enhance the usage of the SWORKz application.

Capturing your Setup Sheet and Email/Copy/Print the captured Photo

Dear Racers,

Thank you for all your feedback, we have receive various requests for new enhancements and updates. We are hard at work to build and test the next release. There are many who wants to know how to email out the setups. In this post, we would like to take you through some steps to achieve this, we are better on an improved and a more direct approach, however, the following will help you email, share and even post your setup sheets in social networks and in forum threads.

1. STEP 1 – Capturing your Setup Sheet as a Photo

First, load your selected setup sheet, preferrably have it in a portrait orientation for best result as this will hide the menu and allow the setup sheet to be larger and shown in full. Make sure that you hide the keyboard and other pop-up feature such as the Sway Bar selector box.

Next, simultaneously press the “on/off” button and the “Home” button on your ipad. Do not hold the buttons, just press and release , a snapshot of the setup sheet will be taken. * the ipad camera shutter will be triggered with a sound alert and on screen shutter flash.
